Bar and Restaurant Furniture

Bar and restaurant furniture dramatically varies as per the class, ethnicity, style and the overall ambience of the establishment. Several types of watering holes and eateries need different types of furnishings.

Portable bars

Most taverns and night clubs, and some restaurants also, have the bar right inside the establishment. However, sometimes when cocktail preparations are required outside, a portable bar is commonly used. Portable bars are typically set on wheels to facilitate easy mobility. The counter are is about four feet high. Portable bars usually come in several sizes with additional features like steel drains and sinks. There are additional supply shelves and racks as well.

Booths and half-booths

Booths are a common feature in most restaurant furniture. They are stationary seating places that protrude from walls. Some of them are two-bench seats that face each other with a table in between and are fixed to the wall on one side. Half-booths, comprise a long bench with its backside against a wall. They have a dining table in the middle and allow guests to enter from both sides.

Dining tables

Dining tables are mandatory for all restaurants. They come in several shapes like square, rectangular, round etc. and are typically three feet high. Thousands of styles of outdoor and indoor industrial dining tables are available to complement the ambience of a restaurant. Accessories like centerpieces and tablecloths are commonly seen as dining table enhancements in bars and restaurant furniture sets.

Chairs and Stools

Every bar and restaurant furniture must comprise adequate number of stools and chairs for providing proper seating on tables and bars. Shorter tools are generally used for seating guests at low counters and are found in coffee shops and diners. Taller stools are mostly suited for seating bar customers as the bar counter is usually about 1.5 feet taller than standard tables. Most available dining room chairs are about 1.5 feet high and can be easily shoved beneath a standard dinging table.

Pub tables

Pub tables are common components of bar and restaurant furniture. Pub tables are usually tall and free-standing tables and are generally about four feet from the level of the ground. Several taverns and bars prefer tables in a dining area because it allows the guests inside the dining hall to be seated on the same level as that of bar patrons. There are several other advantages of using pub tables. These include an enhanced view of the high-placed television set as also the ability of the tables to accommodate to the height of the bar stools.

Lounge furniture

Regardless of whether your bar or restaurant furniture has a causal or elegant approach, lounge furniture looks attractive and are a comfortable enhancement to the complete decoration. Several upscale cocktail restaurants and lounges have stylish and plush couches as well as easy chairs and cocktail tables. These help the lounge area to sport a sophisticated look. More causal eateries like neighborhood taverns and sports bars often add simple and plain couches and tables on their floor to forge a homely appeal.
